“2012” Submittal Dates for Items to be Reviewed by the Planning Commission
Items to be reviewed by the Planning Commission must be submitted (7 sets or copies accompanied by an appropriate and complete application, and other necessary documentation), to the Engineering Services & Community Development Department, by the listed submittal date, to be reviewed at the next Subdivision Committee Meeting. The Subdivision Committee meets at 1:00 p.m. in the Public Works Conference Room at 1600 W. Elm Street, and engineers/land surveyors/developers, etc. who have placed an item on the agenda are encouraged to attend. The Planning Commission then meets the third Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise specified) at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Athens Police Department at 951 East Hobbs Street. No annexation requests or deannexation requests will be accepted until the August Planning Commission meeting (July 24th, 2012 submission deadline) due to City Council Elections (and any run-off elections).
