Athens Zoning Board of Adjustments
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is responsible for hearing cases on changes to the nature of property:
- Administrative review
- Conditional uses/ special exceptions
- Variances
The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets the 3rd Thursday of each month in the Public Works Building located at 1600 West Elm Street. Meeting time is 5:30 p.m. Application fee is $20.00. Applicants/applicants representative must attend the meeting for action to be taken on the case.
