To obtain a residential building permit for new construction please bring the following information to the Building Inspection Office located in the Public Works building at 1600 Elm Street West.

• Address and lot number.
• Total heated square footage.
• Total unheated square footage. (Garages, porches, etc.)
• Contract price.
• Number of plumbing fixtures that drains into the sewer system.
• If sewer is not available, we need a copy of the septic tank permit from the Health Department.
• Plot plan of the lot. (Distance the structure will be from each property line)
