9. Lindsey Lane Improvements for right of way acquisition, three lane road section, drainage improvement, and intersection improvements from Canebrake entrance to Huntsville/Brownsferry Road   $4,500,000

10. U.S. Highway 72/CSX Railroad Overpass widening  $1,200,000

11. Nuclear Plant Road upgrade from U.S. Highway 31 to Brownsferry Nuclear Plant  $2,200,000

13. South Hines Street sidewalk to Jimmy Gill Park   $50,000

BUILDING PROJECTS

18. Additional classroom to City of Athens Training Facility (Leak City)  $125,000

19. Renovate existing building for library and municipal complex  $6,000,000

20. Renovation of City Fire Station # 1 at City Hall   $1,500,000

21. Construct new Fire Station # 3  $1,000,000

22. Construction of Training Center at Fire Station #3  $500,000

23. Trinity School/Fort Henderson Project   $500,000

24. Restoration of Brick Streets on Limestone County Courthouse Square   $600,000

25. Jefferson Street Greenway Enhancement     $100,000

These projects have been submitted to the Alabama State Department of Transportation, TARCOG, the North Alabama Transportation Foundation, State Legislators, the Congressional Delegation, and will go to anyone else that we think will be able to promote them when monies are being distributed from the stimulus legislation. These are not listed in priority. All projects seem to be ready to go to construction within 120 days. There may be a match required for a small number of these projects. The estimated cost of these projects are:
