For Automated Garbage Collection

• Place carts with handle facing away from the street.
• In order to get more into the container, remove air from trash bags.
• Compact you garbage as much as possible.
• Flatten cardboard boxes to save space.
• Do not place construction, remolding or demolition material in the cart.
• Do not place hot ashes or flammable items in the cart.
• Do not place your container near utility poles, fences, fire hydrants, vehicles or mailboxes.
• Do not park on the street during collection day.

For Bulk Collection

• Remove doors from appliances before placing at the curb.
• Place broken glass in a box for collection.
• Dry out paint cans with cat litter, sand or air dry.
• Bag or box loose yard waste.
• Do not block drainage areas.
• Do not park on the street during collection day.

For Recycling Collection

• Crush aluminum cans.
• Rinse out glass and plastic jugs.
• Do not place plastic bags in recycling.
