Biography

Born in Ardmore, Alabama in 1943. Graduated from Elkmont High School after attending Ardmore Elementary school. Attended Alvis and Draughns Business College, The University of Toledo in Toledo Ohio, and Calhoun College in Decatur.

Retired from GM/Delphi after 28 years in materials management and purchasing.

Married to Carol Meadows of Athens and has three children (Mark, Beth and Jeff)and three grandchildren (Logan, Luke, and Laren).

Is a member of First Baptist Church in Athens.

Elected to the city council in 2004
